I'm trying to setup an online store where customers can pickup their purchase from a locker at my physical business location.
The idea is that the customer would be sent a code for the locker AFTER they make the purchase. However, I can't figure out how to do this. I can add pickup instructions, but these are also displayed at checkout before the customer has made the purchase. I tried changing the custom information on the receipt - which would be the PERFECT place for this - but the receipt isn't sent with online purchases, just an order confirmation.
Can anybody help with this? Or if this isn't possible, recommend a different online store provider which might offer this functionality.

If you'd like to send further pickup instructions to your customers after their purchases, I recommend customising your order email notifications.
For example, you can add a banner to the order confirmation or order prepared alerts to include the code for the locker. To do so:
