We are a coffee truck and, were slammed on the weekend at a very busy market. As customers placed there orders, in person and, then waited for an extended period, I couldnt help but wonder why we couldnt automate a text message so they could continue shopping and come back and collect when ready.
Has anyone done this for instore orders?

Currently, there isn’t a way to notify in-person customers their order is ready via text message - but I think it would be a great feature request!
We do however offer pickup text message alerts for Square Online and QR Code orders. When you mark an order as ready, a text message will be sent to the phone number the customer entered during the online checkout.
