Over the past year our Square register stopped transferring cred card payments to our bank. It showed we had $1300 waiting transfer and when our IT guy talked to Square support he was told to log out and log in under a different user. When the IT person signed back into the original person the $1300 disappeared. Is there a way to find this money on the register? The support team doesn't have any answers and is giving the run around.
Hi @Cecilpier24 , have you checked the transaction history under the "banking" tab. That will show all sales as well as transfers to your bank or any other expenses/fees that may have been charged to your account.
I don't see transaction history on my end. We have the free version so I think a lot of the options on there we cannot use. I have looked all over the place.
Hey @Cecilpier24 , there's a couple options where to look. One is the transactions under your "Orders and Payments" tab. It looks like this and will record all sales/register transactions.
The other is the banking tab where your transactions should show. If you client on "Banking" and then "Checking" and click the account, you should see the transaction history. Here's what mine looks like and you can see sales as well as where I transferred money into and out of savings so I know exactly where the money went.
