On the ppp application, you are required to select a business type. When I try to do the drop down, there aren't any options. It also won't let me move forward without a type selected. Please help!

This is a known issue that we're working hard to resolve. Please ensure you're selecting a business category first, prior to selecting the business type.

Same issue. Was invited to fill out application but at a complete stop because no drop down menu in Business type.

I started the PPP loan app but have had a lot of confusion as to my business type. Consequently, I'm getting an "unknown error" message and want to start over completely. The app doesn't allow me to make the necessary changes. Does anyone know how to start over from the beginning of the app?
I am having the same exact issue....on messaging with customer service who told me that they can't cancel my application out and that I would need to call tomorrow since they can't do anything. This is ridiculous....I have asked Mary R to just delete my application and let me start over. Keeps saying unknown error with a sad crying face

Is anybody else having a problem with the square PPP application locking up? I have been unable to get mine submitted for the past few hours. Now the application is getting stuck on the section Business type under Business info. It says "select" on business type but won't let me choose anything. 😩

I was able to get this resolved by switching my browser to Chrome instead of Internet Explorer. Thx to the Square team for their help today!
Good for you! Unfornutaly for us we've tried Google Chrome, Explorer and Safari. And still saying "Unknown error".
I have tried in three different browers and on my iphone and ipad. It does not work on any device

I was able to get someone on the phone to answer. I had to download google chrome as use that as my browser and its working now.
Use google chrome. That worked for me and was the suggestion I got over the phone.
