Can't select business type on PPP application?

On the ppp application, you are required to select a business type.  When I try to do the drop down, there aren't any options.  It also won't let me move forward without a type selected.  Please help!

Hey everyone!

 

This is a known issue that we're working hard to resolve. Please ensure you're selecting a business category first, prior to selecting the business type.

 

Thank you so much @Verbum for providing the workaround of submitting the application on your iPhone or Android mobile device.

 

I passed it along to our Engineering Team, and our Customer Success team.

I posted a screenshot of the unknown error on Square/Twitter link, and got a response from Jackie Reses that they would be looking into it. It sounds as if this is an issue that many people have, so I’m not entirely sure why it hasn’t been resolved yet but clearly it is not a small issue. Crossing fingers that they can fix it before all the money’s gone.

Nothing is working. 

Again.

Anytime I try to _modify_ or _re-do_ or _delete_ or _start over_ the “unknown error” with the teary face appears. It has zero bearing on which page or which dropdown window. 

I’ve sent messages to every platform I use..FB, Seller Community, Support Team, Capital Team and again this morning, Square Support on Twitter. If it were just me, I’d gladly say I’m crazy or beyond tech help, but there are more than a couple of me with the issue. Very disappointed.

So I was invited to apply for the loan through here, but once it got to my business information and I had to choose "type of business" the drop down down box has nothing listed so of course I cannot choose, and yup it will not allow me to move on from that page because it needs that information to continue!

HAS ANY ONE BEEN HAVING THAT ISSUE??? ITS GETTING A LIL FRUSTRATING!!!

Ughhhh yes but it let me do it on my cell phone! Which is super annoying to complete it on your cell phone but the only way I could get it to let me select a business type

This is a known issue that's occurring with the PPP application. Take a look at the best answer in this thread for a workaround until we have completely resolved this issue. Thanks for your patience and sorry about that!

You can use your cell phone to select the business type- that’s the only way I was able to do it- however I had To complete the application on my phone- no fun
