As far as an out of the box solution, I don't believe what your client has in mind is something that cannot be done without the help of someone who is familiar with writing code. You may want to visit Square's Developers Forum for some thoughts. Just my thoughts of course as sometimes what people need are beyond the scope of this community. We're pretty good at some things but, don't have the technical knowledge that is sometimes needed.
