Search by other Customer Fields

Our Loyalty customers sometimes request them partner's phone number be added to the account as well. While we have the "Alternate Phone #" field enabled, we have absolutely no way to search that field. This is not a customer field that we created but rather an option already present in Square. Does anyone know how to search by any other fields beside name, phone number, and email? I can't even set up a filter on that field!

Hi there @Peticured.  I just checked the customer profile fields that Square supplies and alternate phone number is not one of those. (See screen shot for the list of the only Square supplied fields.). So, I’m guessing that you had to have created that — or someone in your organization did.  As such, there would be no way to search on that in the POS right now.

 

Also, loyalty was built to only use one phone number.  There can be many credit/debit cards tied to a loyalty account to recognize a loyalty customer — but only one phone number.

 

As far as I know, the only search options available on POS (for anything customer related) are name, phone, email and possibly last 4 digits of card.  To have anything else would necessitate you submitting a feature request.
