How to rearrange category online website

I have an issue trying to arrange my categories in order through the edit online website. It says items are in the dashboard catalog but I cannot see anything on it.

There is another thread with the answer. @TheArcticCircle solved it. I have copied and pasted their answer here:

 

It seems like Square was in the middle of moving the way things show up online to the "Menus" section. So now instead of going to categories, go to Menus and then after you have selected the Menu you want to change, click the three dots by the Menu name and select "rearrange menu groups."

I checked in the Square Online Store editor under Item List > Category Menu and didn't see an option to rearrange the categories. I also checked in the Item Library under Categories here, and didn't find a way to rearrange there either. It seems the categories may currently be in the order you created them.

I've reached out to the Square Online Store Support Team to see if they know of a way to do this. 
I'll reach back out to you here once I receive a reply from their team!

The option to rearrange the Categories used to be there but it is not there anymore. I would like to fix this, as I just made a new Category and I do not want it at the bottom of the page. Thank you!

this is not true. If you rearrange menus it doesnt make a difference to the category layout. Square has removed the option to rearrange categories which is really frustrating. Cant move new categories to the top when you introduce new ones which is annoying as the customer has to scroll down to see them

This thread is for rearranging categories specifically on your website. The above comment does work on rearranging them on your website. It does not change how they appear on your dashboard. To rearrange categories on your website, first go to Items & Services. Then go to Menus. Then click on the Online Menu. When that opens to its own screen, look all the way at the top of the screen where the menu name is. There are 3 dots to the right of the menu name. Click on those. Then click on "rearrange menu groups". The order you put them in here from top to bottom is the order they will appear on your website with the top being the first one on the website, the next will be second, and so on. I hope this is easier to follow so you can rearrange the categories on your website!
