Hello! Selling out of stock item.

I have been reading through the thread on the subject of selling items that are out of stock. I am curious as to why Square hasn't added the feature that Shopify has that allows you to select continue selling when out of stock. as long as you have inventory tracking enabled. I do understand pre-order. I see that this is,an ongoing question since 2021. 

I like Square but may switch to Shopify as I move forward.

I am sure there is a feature request from me for this, it is something that I think is easily addressed but I am not a developer. Square has no problem allowing 3rd party integrations to oversell to the functionality is there somewhere to push an order through.

I believe it should be available with a notation about it is currently listed as out of stock store will reach out for confirmation on availability or substitutions.
