12/13 Update: The response has been fantastic! Just so everyone is aware, if you haven't gotten a response yet - don't worry. We'll get to your site over the next couple of weeks. We'll also tag you when we reply, so you'll get an additional email saying one of us "mentioned" you.

Hi @ThingsDublin, thanks for sharing your site! I'm astonished by the huge selection of merchandise you have! 😮

I love your detailed product descriptions, too - it's so important to include that information when selling online, but a lot of people overlook it. I just have a couple of suggestions:

  • For the coupon code on your site, you could try using Pop-ups in the future. You can set up a schedule so the pop-up will only show up on the dates your coupon is valid for. That way you don't have to go back and edit your site to remove the code.
  • I would suggest moving the location and hours section above the email signup form and IG feed for easier access.

Hey @CRF! Looking at your site is making me so hungry right now - that onion-dill bread sounds ah-may-zing! 😍
I love the "Explore the Bakery" call to action button on the home page, and the order online page looks fantastic - great photos and descriptions! On your main page, I found the dark text against the Christmas background a bit hard to read. Have you thought about making a dedicated page for the Christmas Quick Shop section? You could add it into the site navigation so it's visible right at the top. After the holidays, you can simply remove the page. I would also suggest making separate pages for the location and hours & testimonials sections, too, since they're a little buried on the home page.

Hi @Rudbeckia! Thanks for sharing your site. I think this is the first time I've seen a .beer domain name. Pretty cool! 🍻
Your site is really well-organized and easy to navigate with great product descriptions. You could consider adding a little more color to the home page, and/or adding images for your categories. A location and hours section somewhere on the main page would be a good addition, too (it took me a minute to figure out where you were located 😅).

Absolutely! We're just getting started with online ordering and a bigger online presence. Hoping to redirect to our permanent domain and landing page soon.

Hi @Chim! Omg, more delicious-looking food to make me even hungrier! 😋You're probably already working on this, but I would suggest adding a photo for each item, if possible. Having a visual reference can make a huge difference for people who are considering what to order. I found the navigation menu a little hard to read against the header background. You might want to experiment a little with the font size and color, or try using a solid background color there and move the photo to the page below. I also would recommend a location and hours section for your home page. The menu text in the footer is also a little hard to read, so you could play around with the colors and size there as well.

Hey @porktaco ! I don't know how I ended up with three food-related sites in a row, but here I am, wishing I was close enough to place an order! 😋

Your site looks fantastic - it's super well-organized and easy to navigate, and I get a real sense of your brand just from browsing the site. I love that you have a "secret menu" and the option for no disposables is awesome. The only thing I noticed is the text size for product titles and descriptions is a little small and hard to read, but maybe that's just me. 😅

Click on ORDER button

Page is literally a mess right now.  I had started to set up a separate location to separate modifiers from brick/motar but then decided what I already had set up was just as good. Began deleting the second location items and realized I was deleting EVERYTHING!  This weekend while we are closed I was starting to rebuild.  Like I said, currently a mess and I'm trying to decide which way to go with the online ordering.

Thanks,

~Annie

Hey @TFBO ! The site is looking really good so far! As I've mentioned in other replies, having a picture for each item is ideal. You don't need to have a professional photographer - you can take your own photos with your phone and some good lighting. You might also want to check out the new Square Photo Studio app, which makes it easy to get professional results. For the header image, have you considered using a photo of one of your menu items, like the amazing-looking turkey melt with peppered bacon? It looks like you have that photo at the bottom of the page, but I think it could make an eye-catching header image!

Hi, @Theglowroom609. Thank you for sharing! Here are a couple thoughts I had after looking through your site:

1. You might want to try different header layout that will let more of the navigation links show. You don't have that many, so it another layout might let them all be shown without the need of the "more" menu dropdown.

2. With your footer, another layout might help position things a little better. The white space around the logo and cookie settings link make them look like they're sort of off-center.

Hey Adam, I would love your feedback. A site overhaul is something I’m making a priority in the new year.

No problem at all, @allwhowander! The first things I think you could use are an "about us" page and "contact us" page. You could also just make these short sections on the home page and link to them with that, too.

I would also add product images and category images where possible. They can make the lists of items and categories pop a lot more on your site.

Lastly, I feel like you might be able to include some images of your location along with some of the text you have. It'll add a bit of visual pizzaz and help break up a bit of the white space.

@sunflowerstuiodand @ThingsDublin Hey! Sorry I'm just seeing this. If you mean the "Shop by Categories" Section, I used the "Featured Categories". Hope that helps!

Hi @byakki ! I love your site and your items! Everything is so bright and cheerful and cute - it feels like a ray of sunshine on a gloomy day (and it is gloomy here today!). 😊

One thing I did notice is the pop-up on your site that links out to the CRAFT site. Are you required to link to them on your homepage? If so, would it be possible for you to use the banner option at the top of the page, or even a standard link on the page itself? The reason I ask is because I found the current pop-up to be a little confusing, and I think it could potentially direct people away from your site. The "Visit CRAFT" button is really prominent, and it wasn't immediately obvious to me that the "Continue online" link would dismiss the pop-up and allow me to browse your site. Maybe that's just me, though. Everything else is fantastic - you've done an outstanding job!
