Can’t set up without abn. I’ve got a hobby business, have entered business name & trading name

Hi, I’m trying to set up a square for a little hobby business my daughter has but can’t without an abn. I’ve entered a business name & trading name, also as a sole trader/individual but it indicates I have to have an abn. Really appreciate anyone’s help

Generally speaking, provided you've selected "Individual/Sole Trader" from the "Business Type" field below the ABN field, the ABN should be able to be left blank. I'm not a business but a once yearly art event. A hobby which doesn't require an ABN in Victoria.

I SETUP account as non business.  Now infuriatingly Square won't accept until I provide ABN. 

AFTER hours of researching Square it indicated that I don't require ABN. NOW IT STATES I cannot use until I supply. I repeat, I setup as individual casual art event.

Wished they had a person to chat or sms to. It's so important.
