opening DASHBOARD

When I try to open SQUARE, after log-in, All I get is the menu at the left and NO DASHBOARD. Am I doing something wrong or is there an UPDATE I need to install???

Hi @TonyRoberts, welcome to the Square Community!

 

When that menu appears, what options do you see? Do you see an option that you can select that says "Dashboard?" As well as, are you using an Android or iOS device?

 

In order for me to troubleshoot further, I would need those additional details. Anything else you notice would be helpful too.

 

Feel free to send over a screenshot of what you are seeing on your side as well and I would happy to continue troubleshooting for you.

Thanks for getting back to me.  I do NOT see a listing for "dashboard". My WIFI connection is through my IPhone hotspot to my LAPTOP. I tried to insert a screenshot, but I am not that proficient at this computer stuff. All I get is the menu on the left and a symbol on the right side that it is trying to download the screen. But that just runs, never connecting.

If you cannot upload a screenshot, are you able to describe what you are seeing? Is there anything you can see that you can click on? Such as what options pop up on the menu?

 

A couple other quick questions, are you trying to access your Dashboard from your laptop, or your phone? As well as, have you tried to log in to your Dashboard from both devices?

All I see on my laptop is the menu on the left and the icon on the right that shows it is working to open. I get the same screen when I click on ANY of the items in the menu. On my IPhone I get most everything. It seems to be working. Also I need to EDIT some things and can't find where to do that. But on my laptop, all I get is what I described.

On your laptop, could you do a bit of troubleshooting for us, please?

- Check for a strong internet connection

- Clear browser cache and cookies

- Try a different Browser, such as Chrome, Firefox, or Safari

- Ensure that your web browser is up-to-date

- Log out and log back in

- Restart your device

 

Once you have gone through these steps, can you try to access your Dashboard again? Please let me know what you see on your side.
