Square Terminal Idle Screen not working

Hello, I'm trying to set up the idle screen on my square terminal and the option is not showing up. 

I have my terminal connected through a device code, but the option to add an image still won't show up in the Square Dashboard or in the terminal settings. 

I've messed around with a bunch of settings and still nothing works, please help!

Hi @paperclovers, where are you going in the square dashboard? The location to add an image is gonna be in the following path 

Settings -> Account Settings -> My business -> Locations

Then you will want to select the location where the terminal will be and click edit location

Then scroll down to the branding section, and you should be able to upload an image. Once the image is uploaded to the branding of that location, go back to the terminal and open settings -> Hardware -> Display -> toggle display image

Those are the exact steps I've been trying to follow, and my branding screen looks like this:

I have tried uploading an image in this section of the branding menu, but still when I go to settings on my square terminal in Hardware -> Display, the only options that are shown are Brightness and Turn off Display

So I can absolutely confirm that adding the image there will not show. That is for logos on other things that may appear. The terminal section looks like this and should be just below it. Just to confirm, are you setting this up within the Square POS app or another?

I am trying to set it up on the website dashboard!
I didn't think the image would work from putting it in the branding section, I was just testing it out on the off chance Square changed the dashboard.

But that section doesn't show up for me at all, only the branding part and then below it is business hours.
I'm guessing it has something to do with my devices not being linked properly, but I've followed guides on how to use the device code for the terminal, so I don't know what the issue is.

Take a look in Dashboard at Settings > Device management > Devices

to see if it lists the Terminal

Yes it does! 
It lists both my phone and the terminal

You are in Branding, Terminal Background should be located below this.
