Square Retail reading Hobart Quantum (ML-29032)

Hi everyone,

I’m running into a pricing issue with my Hobart Quantum ML-29032 scale labels in Square for Retail.

My scale is currently printing a barcode: 2 00001 30727 4

Actual Price: $7.27

(Weight: 0.52 lb @ $13.99/lb).

Square Reading: $307.27.

I have my item SKU in Square set to 00001 (5 digits).

The problem is that Square is interpreting the entire 5-digit price block (30727) as cents ($307.27).

However, my Hobart scale seems to be adding a leading "3" as a prefix in the price field, followed by the actual price digits (0727).

Does anyone know if there is a setting in the Square Dashboard to tell the POS to ignore the first digit of the price field? Or is there a specific Label Format code for the Hobart Quantum that is known to work perfectly with Square's 5-digit price logic?

I want the barcode to be read as $7.27, not $307.27. Any advice on how to align these two systems would be greatly appreciated!
