No business number

Will this machine work if I have no business number? I host a golf tournament with proceeds going to a major charity

Having a business number is not optional when Square requires reverification.  And we don't have one; we are a registered charity and it won't accept that number.  The system currently appears broken.  I do not currently recommend using Square.

Having the same exact issue.  Keep getting emails and texts to re-verify where business number is mandatory so I am stuck.

I am in the same boat trying to re-verify our account.  I represent a group that raises money for African Grandmothers and have used the Square for many years.  I've tried to reach out to the Square but have not been able to get any help there.  We may have to find another method of taking credit cards so if anyone has a suggestion I'd appreciate hearing from you.

As a registered charity, you MUST have a business number issued by CRA.

It will be 9 digits, followed by RR followed by four digits, in this format
