As of yesterday or today several of my products with variations have "skip item details screen" under "checkout behavior" enabled. Either they weren't enabled before yesterday or the Square terminal software ignored that setting. I'm assuming there was a software update to the Square terminals that is now causing this setting to be a factor during checkout. I have potentially hundreds of products this may now impact during checkout!! Is there a way to globally turn off this setting? Or will the Square team be fixing this issue? Thank you!
I have the same issue. It is very annoying and creates extra work for us.
Has there been any update for this? Seriously loosing my mind every month when we have a new menu to click that off each time. Would love to have it detailed off.
I came up with a solution:
We use three categories: Wine, Wine-Import, Glass.
I created three templates with my preferred parameters and duplicate the appropriate one as needed.
