Thanks for your question!

 

It's recommended to update your Printer Profile settings directly from the Square Dashboard (accessed via a web browser like Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox, Safari, or Microsoft Edge). This way, any changes made to the profile will be applied to all printers that the profile is assigned to.

 

Here's the steps below:

1. Sign in to your Square Dashboard on a web browser and go to Settings > Device Management > Printer Profiles.
2. Click on your Printer Profile, and a panel will pop out on the right hand side of page.
3. In this panel, click the three dots ( ) > Edit profile.
4. Under Receipts, select print receipts: Manually.
5. Click Save.


This will ensure that receipts are no longer being printed automatically.

Thank you @Katie_SQ - that worked.  It's a little convoluted and counter-intuitive, as this used to be at the POS and easy to find, but your solution worked.  It was *always* set to "manual", but some recent Square update moved the location of the setting and then switched it to "automatic".  I suspect I speak for most people when I say things like this are frustrating to the user base and completely avoidable.  That said - very much appreciate your help.  Thank you.
