Is anyone else having this problem where it just wont skip the receipt screen even if you turn on skip receipt/signatures on the square terminal? ๐ It used to work fine for me a year ago. I sent in help requests a few times praying it would be fixed eventually. I tried turning off the printer. I tried turning off the receipt. I Hotspot the terminal through my phone. Im on Samsung Galaxy S25 ultra, it doesn't work the S22 either.

Check Device-Specific Settings
On your Terminal, go to
Settings > Checkout > Signature & Receipt and make sure:
โSkip Receipt Screenโ is ON
โSkip Signatureโ is ON (if applicable)
โAsk for Signatureโ is set to the highest possible amount to avoid prompting
Update Firmware
Make sure your Square Terminal software is up to date:
Settings > General > About and tap Software Update if available.
Double-Check Connected Devices
If youโve ever had a printer, cash drawer, or stand connected, it might still be looking for those devices for receipt settings. Go to Settings > Hardware and verify nothing is interfering.
Restart and Reset (Last Resort)
Try a full reboot of the Terminal, or go to
Settings > Device โบ Factory Reset (only if you've tried everything else).
It's possible the receipt screen skips differently depending on network stability.
