Who can I use a domain on my Weebly site after upgrading to the Professional Plan?

hi, I just purchased the professional plan, upgrading from the free weebly website. what are the next steps, how do i change my website name with the weebly.com to my personalized name without the weebly advertising? Can anyone please assist me on getting this done?

🔧 Here’s How to Connect Your Custom Domain:

1. Purchase/Register Your Domain (if you haven’t yet):

   • Go to Website > Domains in your Weebly Dashboard

   • Search and purchase a domain directly from Square/Weebly or choose “Use a domain you already own”

   • If you're using a domain from another provider (like GoDaddy or Google Domains), you’ll just need to update your DNS settings to point to Weebly

2. Set It as Your Primary Domain:

   • Once your domain is added, go to Website > General Settings

   • Under Site Address, select your new domain as the primary site address (instead of the yoursite.weebly.com one)

3. Remove the Weebly Branding Automatically:

   • On the Professional plan, as soon as a custom domain is connected and set as primary, Weebly branding and ads will automatically disappear from your live website

4. Publish Your Site Again:

   • Don’t forget to click Publish at the top right corner to make sure the changes go live 🚀
