I was at a location where the internet was unsecured, so I did an Off Line Sale There was also an Internet crash and I was unable to to connect to my home Wi- Fi 24 hours after the sale. The card was denied, even though it was valid. Will I get that sale eventuallly or is it lost due to no fault of mine

There is additional risk with any offline payments you accept. Square is not responsible for any loss due to declined cards or expired payments taken while offline. In addition, Square can not reprocess any declined transactions.
We recommend before taking an offline payment that you verify the name of the cardholder as well as the expiration date to ensure it’s a valid card.
