Welcome to the Square community. You will absolutely love using Square. It's perfect for all sizes of business and allows you to grow or shrink depending on where you take your business. We love the the fact you can stock manage really easily across multiple locations. The discount function is sublime. I could gone on all day, just dive in and have a play. The community is super friendly and helpful, so if you need anything just ask.

Hello! I am a food truck lobster business that started in 2021. We have increased exponentially and I would like to upgrade my square stand to square register. I currently do not have the customer display. Do I need to buy the $799.00 or are they interchangeable or can be added? Is the square register another IPAD?
Hi @Hlewis8245 from what I understand the Square Reguster has a larger larger POS screen plus a forward facing screen to enable direct interaction with the customer, unlike the ipad and stand where you need to rotate the stand to allow customers to input on to the screen. I think the Square Register forward facing screen also detaches from the stand which is a nice feature. It looks really nifty and we were hoping to have in our shops but have held back for the moment with the investment until Square sort out loyalty and email signups at POS, as these would work well with the registers forward facing screen but they are still looking at this functionality in the UK.

So I own and operate a small town Outback Pub in Australia, but our main Schtick is our nightly show during our tourist season, "Ben's Chicken Racing" where we race chickens for charity (and to bring people in obviously!).
Been using Square for 7 years now, love it, and about to open a second venue 600km away, so busy year ahead.
Main business is Food and Beverage, but we do a bit of accommodation, gaming and merchandise.

Hello Fellow Foodies!
Although I freely admit that I don't call myself a Foodie, I do operate a Lounge and Restaurant inside my 55,000 SF Family Entertainment Center in Lincoln, Nebraska. Fortunately for me, I have several integral team members who help lead this department on my behalf. With that being said, we do a large food and beverage operation that appeals as it's own destination, however mainly services the needs of all of our guests.
Our facility includes 32 lanes of bowling, a 24 player laser tag arena, an indoor mini-golf course, an outdoor green space with cornhole, and three outdoor sand volleyball courts. We also have a bowling pro shop (using Square for Retail) and as previously mentioned, a large quick service grill and lounge area.
We are extremely eager and excited to help develop Square as the go-to for the family entertainment and recreation industry, and look forward to learning from all of you and your experience.

Thanks for the invite. We, my wife and I, run a food truck in Killeen Texas. It is Thai Law, a Thai food business. We are going on our third year and still find it exciting. Many graces have kept us afloat. Mostly, I think it’s the customers. She is the cook and I’m the other. She adds menu items somewhat regularly and people like it. I think they like the authenticity and regularity as well. So many places open and close about one year later around here.
