Hi everyone! We’re excited to be launching a new line of fresh pasta meal kits, starting right here in our local community. 🍝
I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences with using DoorDash and UberEats, especially now that they’re supposedly integrated into Square. The idea of managing everything in one place is appealing, but I’m unsure of the real-world pros and cons.
Right now, we use Square’s built-in delivery options (which already tap into these services), but I’m really looking to ramp up volume and visibility.
If you've navigated this integration or have insight into boosting sales through these platforms, I’d greatly appreciate your input!
Thanks in advance 🙏

Hey there! 👋 First off—yum! Fresh pasta meal kits sound amazing, and launching locally is such a smart move 🍝👏
We haven’t fully launched on UberEats or DoorDash yet, but we’re preparing to — especially since the new Square integration makes it easier to manage everything from one dashboard. A few things we’ve learned just from research and talking to others:
✅ Keep your photos & descriptions strong. It makes a huge difference. Highlight what's fresh, homemade, or unique — DoorDash/UberEats customers shop with their eyes first.
✅ Prep for pricing strategy. These platforms take around 20–30%, so most folks raise menu prices slightly on delivery apps to protect margins.
✅ Use promo tools wisely. Both platforms let you run limited-time offers — which can help you show up more often in searches or under “popular near you” spots.
✅ Google visibility counts. Some people will Google your name after finding you on a delivery app. Make sure your Google Business Profile is optimized and updated, too.
We’re getting ready to test this out ourselves through Square and UberEats to reach new customers without managing a separate system — so I’ll be following this thread closely too 👀🙌
Wishing you big success with your pasta kits — it’s giving homemade with a side of hustle 💪💛
