Customer ID/QR Code scanning - Square for Restaurants

Hi folks - I'm Jack, a PM with Square for Restaurants. 

Square has a feature to help sellers identify customers with QR codes and apply coupons, and we're planning to introduce this to Square for Restaurants. 

I'm curious to chat with any sellers on this topic - are you currently managing member programs or distributing QR codes to customers? How might extending this feature help you grow business? What might be missing?

I wasn't aware that this is a feature until now, but I am glad to learn about it. I look forward to testing it out when it comes out for Restaurants! I come from a QSR background, and we used QR codes to identify customers, give them rewards, etc. Hopefully we'll be able to incorporate some of these features.
