What is this annoying drop down AI search bar on our home screens?

Who ever in R&D at Square thought that a drop down ai search bar that covers your daily sales data was a good idea, please resign 🙂

Hey there @MFNC206. Are you aware that this dropdown ONLY happens if you click in the search box?  And that if you click anywhere outside it, it disappears and you can once again see your full report?

Actually if your curser goes anywhere near the search bar it will engage the drop down. So that is the annoying part. Yes, if I click outside the bar it will collapse the drop down. Just one more click when I'm trying to do a quick glance at my dash board. I don't mind the search bar so much, it's the fact that I have to collapse it 8 to 10 times per day. Can they just adjust the sensitivity so that if I do want to use the ai search I can click inside the search bar?

Similar to @TheRealChipA, mine only comes down if I click within the search bar. Nothing happens if I move my cursor close to it or even over it. Perhaps this is a bug with a specific browser? What browser do you use, and when was the last time you cleared your cache?

@schaefferjosh Looks like @schaefferjosh's might be correct here -- hovering does not open it up in my browser (Safari for Mac).  I'll tag the Community moderators here to follow up.  It would help a lot to know which browser/device you are using, and to know if you've tried another browser and had the same result.
