I would like to see the "online sale price" become just "sale price" or have the option to have it for in-store, online, or both. When I have to change the price to be the same as the "online sale price" so my instore people get the sale price then my online shoppers don't think they are getting anything on sale. Please fix this.
Have you tried creating an automated discount in the discounts section?
You can set it to POS and Online instead of using the "Online Price" at the item level.
Online sale v sale can be a little tricky to balance and resolve. Try the automated discounts as previously suggested by @LukeNieuw , but note if you offer online coupons this won't be available online with online auto discounts enabled. Just a consideration
