[US Upcoming Beta] Looking for Testers: Tip Before Payment 🤑

👋 Hello, sellers! We have an upcoming testing opportunity, for US only at this time. 

Who? This feature would be most applicable for sellers doing counter service - no printed auth slips, and tipping enabled.

What? We will be introducing the ability for sellers to customize their checkout flow so customers are prompted to enter a tip before they swipe/tap/dip their card. This will be a setting within F&B modes only to start.

Why?

• By switching the order of these actions in Checkout, it reduces the likelihood that customers will walk away after payment and forget to make a selection in the tip UI.

• Additionally, since items are not sent to the kitchen until a tip selection is made, we expect this to increase the speed in which items are sent to the kitchen, ultimately decreasing fulfillment times.

Definitely interested. Been asking for a way to have customers tip before payment. We lose a lot of tips right now because customers pay then just walk away unless we remind them to please complete the prompt. @nika @kristen
