We work with a lot of international clients, especially in South Asia, and one major hurdle we face when setting up payment flows is local tax compliance and business registration documentation.
It would be amazing if Square could integrate a localized compliance hub or tax calculator directly into the dashboard for international sellers. For example, the compliance process here was so overwhelming that we actually had to build our own free external tool company registration just to help our local market calculate sales tax, income tax, and generate incorporation documents because no global POS system offers this natively for our region.
If Square could add a feature where international sellers can generate or track their local tax registration documents directly within the Square ecosystem, it would save us so much time and make onboarding 10x easier.
Would love to know if any other international sellers struggle with this or if a compliance hub is on the roadmap! Thanks!
