Does anyone else want a weekly automatic transfer, or is it just me?

So, I have been running mostly with manual transfers because I'm mostly online and I don't want to overrun my credit union feed with daily transfers. I tend to transfer once a week or twice a month depending on when I need to send things over, because I do offer my customers the option to receive paypal invoices as well. 

Am I the only one who would like to have a automatic transfer option that can be set to once a week instead the daily option that is currently available? Like, the main reason I haven't set my balance to automatically transfer is because I don't want it to happen daily. 

I would honestly also be fine with it if there was a modifier we could add into the daily of "don't transfer if balance is below $xxx.xx so I don't end up with tiny transfers on my slow days.

Hey there @DivyaWP.. This is an interesting suggestion/question.  I'm not sure in my 13 years as a Square seller that I've ever seen it come up before.  Usually people are complaining that their money isn't getting to them days before they actually make it! Ha.  Anyway......

I'm wondering if the Recurring Transfer feature could help you right now?  (web dashboard  > Settings > Account & Settings > Banking > Transfers)

You can set up daily, weekly or monthly recurring transfers with this.  You do have to specify an amount, but you can change that before the transfer date if sales are unexpectedly large.  The good thing about this is that if there isn't enough money to make the transfer, it won't happen and you'll be notified.

It's not exactly what you are asking for, but it might be close enough.  I'll be interested in seeing the replies here, regardless.

I think that would be a great idea as an option! Our specific business NEEDS daily but it seems that would benefit your business to do weekly. It also seems easy enough on Square's end to make that an option.

I would like the ability to choose. While I do like my daily deposits it would be nice to change should the need arise, like the OP said, some banks have transaction limits/counts. It would also make year end a little cleaner to have weekly instead of daily deposits on statements. Not a make or break for me but an interesting concept!

You could put everything into a Square Savings daily and sweep out what you need when you need it. Everyone has different needs. What works best for us is daily deposits.
