Beta Sell-Through slow/errors — can filters be saved?

We use the Inventory Sell Through report almost every day for vendor ordering, purchase orders, inventory planning, and transfers between our two store locations, so this report is critical for our daily inventory operations.

I appreciate that the new beta report seems to be aiming for more detailed reporting. Some of the added metrics are helpful, especially Net Units Received, because it gives better context for ordering and inventory planning.

The biggest issue right now is performance and reliability. The report takes a very long time to load, and sometimes it does not load at all and instead fails with this error:

“Couldn’t load this section. Something went wrong while loading this section. Details: Error: [MISSING_GROUP_BY] The query does not include a GROUP BY clause. Add GROUP BY or turn it into the window functions using OVER clauses. SQLSTATE: 42803; line 2069 pos 11.”

Even when the report does load, the delay makes it difficult to use during active ordering work.

The filtering workflow is also harder than what we need for daily use, especially the vendor filter, which feels less accessible and takes more steps to get to now. Since we carry thousands of SKUs, we need quick access to vendor filters, date ranges/sales history, locations, quantity on hand, and selected item-level metrics.

We also need the ability to save or keep preferred filter views, such as saved views by vendor, location, date range, and selected metrics, so we do not have to rebuild the same filters every day.

Also, the “Leave Feedback” button at the top of the beta report does nothing when I click it, so I wasn’t able to submit this through the intended feedback option.

Is anyone else seeing similar issues with the beta Inventory Sell Through report? Since Square says this beta report is actively being improved, I’m mainly wondering if there is an ETA for better performance, fewer loading errors, and saved/persistent filter views.
