After having the Square terminal with receipt printer (the handheld one) for a short time I found some features that are absolutely needed for many businesses.
1, show battery charge percentage as a number. The little icon on top does not indicate much.
2, please make it connect via Bluetooth the same way that the square reader does. The reader can connect via Bluetooth and works perfectly with my phone. Why can't the handheld terminal work the same way?
3, when I open the app on my phone I can see the reader as a connected device, but the handheld terminal doesn't show on my screen, even though it's connected to the Internet and my account. It should show up and show status and battery percentage the same as my basic reader.
I understand that a Bluetooth function would require an update to hardware via a new version, but the other items can be done via software updates. You're charging me for every transaction, so it's not like the company doesn't have money to do programming.
