If you currently use Square for Retail, a scale, a barcode scanner, love trying new things and AND giving feedback then we have a new beta test that might be perfect for you!

We’re thrilled to announce that we’re building compatibility with the Magellan 9400 scanner scale into Square for Retail on both Square Register and Square Stand (2nd Generation). 

Compatibility with the scanner-scale will allow staff to scan and weigh items quickly so that customers are not waiting for too long and staff can complete checkout as efficiently as possible.

Note: the Magellan 9400 scanner-scale is designed to be built into your countertop, so please consider this before requesting to participate.

I would be interested in testing it. I weigh a lot of stuff during the day and it really slows me down. (Bath salts, pumice and bulk soap). Not sure what generation stand I have though. Had it for years.

Hi I am interested, we sell a lot of items that need to be weighed and need our scale to integrate with our POS system. Will this be a available in Canada? If so When?

This would be perfect I have one of these from my old system and wish it have worked with square. I’m still setting up my square retail before roll out so I’d like to test this please I’m on the latest iOS version of square retail and waiting on my square stand to arrive 🙂
