Scale for restaurant

Hiya! 
I have a cafe & bakery. We also slice & sell our deli meat & cheese by the pound. I have switched to the restaurant version for ease in the cafe but I can no longer run the deli Deparmtent seamlessly. I would love to see the scale option as a part of the restaurant pos. Thank you!

@Candlestore I'm referring to the weight scales to weight items and have that value transferred to the POS. 

Let's say I need to weight a product and the value is 0.50lb, right now I need to type 0.50lb in Square for Restaurant because the Register is not recognizing the scale on "Hardware".

They are compatible with Square Register, not necessarily with Square for Restaurants. 

At the moment I believe they only work with Square Point of Sale.

I believe that scales may only work with POS and Retail. 

This is why: 

Scales supported with Square hardware allow for you to sell items by weight. USB scales are not supported on Square for Restaurants.

Not sure why that is.
