Please add quick links capability back to the Web Dashboard

Since there is no "Web Dashboard" area in Ideate, I'm choosing a board at random.  Ha.

See screen shot of the new main menu.  Can a new menu item called "Quick Links" be added where the red box is?  And then give us back the quick links capabilities so that we can add our own quick links to that sub-menu?  This will save us all lots of clicks in the long run.

Second this! Since I don't utilize every service (Staff for example) having it there does nothing but clutter up my navigation pane. Having the ability to add or remove was great!

The new nested menu is fine and seems to be organized but there are a lot of things that we do everyday that it would be nice to just have those quick links to be able to jump to what we need rather than having to descend into nested categories to find what we're looking for which results in a lot of extra clicks.

Hi @TheRealChipA, this is an excellent feature request. I appreciate you sharing your feedback and for including a screenshot. This is really helpful. I've updated this idea to the "Open" status. This step in the Feature Request process will be a time in which other sellers can add their use cases to your idea to make it stronger and demonstrate further how much it is needed.

Chiming in here to add my .02.   To me the new menus transition better, but unlike most, I don'tuse a ton of Squares ecosystem.  So having the ability to add the shortcuts back to the handful of items I use daily vs having to click click boom through the all would be amazing.

The lack of the Quick Action customization makes this a hard sell for me. It just seems like the dev teams are focused on the "make it pretty" aspect instead of the "make it usable" line of thought.

The new navigation usability is lacking.   Quick links would be great to get us "back" to where we were. 

However, why not just give us the ability to customize the homepage?  Allow us to determine what is important to our business, hopefully they are moving in that directions.

I agree. We definitely need the ability to add quick links. Even the ability to remove the things we don’t ever use and add the things we’re using all the time would be great. I’ll never use Staff, web, etc

Adding this same info here as well for relevancy. 

The ability here (image below) to add/hide some of those items.  For me, I don't use Staff, Online, or even the Reports sections (QB for that)  if we can add more things, I think a Hide feature would be possible.

Yes, please add quick links - new nav was unexpected and a bit clumsy to navigate.

I strongly agree. I use Square for Invoices and the old menu was one click when I logged in. It is now multiple clicks. Very annoying and a step backward in UX design.

Another suggestion would be to use mouse over instead of clicks on a desktop browser. That way it would just be a small additional mouse move instead of more clicks.
