Package Tracking! Track on multi-service appts

As a salon we have been offering manicure packages for a long time. Originally, we tracked packages manually on paper or in an excel sheet and was so excited when Square offered packages but it's not built up enough to actually be useful and it's honestly been more work than manual tracking.

Some solutions that would be helpful:

1) Tracking packages in multi-service appointments. For example, we have mani packages but they don't get tracked when our clients book mani and pedi appointments (which is often!). Since Square is not set up to track when appts are booked as a multi-service appointment we have to go into the Square Dashboard and manually track each time a manicure in the package is used. This completely defeats the purpose of us switching from our manual tracking to Square packages because we end up doing the manual work anyways.

2) If the first issue cannot be addressed, allowing us to track and edit packages from the IOS app would save us a lot of time and effort. My business uses our phones and tablets for EVERYTHING. We rarely access the Square Dashboard from a browser, but since we have switched, I have been pulling out our laptop several times a week to update our packages for multi-service appointments and a lot of information is getting lost in the process.

Square, please make some updates to your package feature, our business would appreciate it soooo much!

+1, this is a real gap for nail salons since mani-pedi is the most common booking. Two things that might cut the manual work until Square fixes it. First, for clients who have a mani package, try booking the manicure as its own appointment right before the pedicure instead of one combined appointment. Since single-service bookings track the package fine, the manicure should come off the package on its own, and the client still sees two back-to-back times. Second, if you'd rather keep the combined booking, batch the updates instead of doing them as you go: once a week, export that week's appointments, filter to manicures for clients who own a package, and adjust all of those balances in one sitting on the laptop. Doing it in one pass also makes it easy to spot any that got missed, which sounds like where info is getting lost now.

Thank you so much for the advice! We'll definitely start updating once a week, it's been such a pain trying to keep up with it when we get busy.

We've tried splitting up appointments and clients have been getting mixed up on their arrival time because they're only seeing the most recent confirmation text. I share this to add to the importance of improving/adding this feature!
