Omnidirectional Barcode Scanner and Integration of McPrint3 printer as a Hub

An omnidirectional scanner like the Symbol DS9208 is very important for most retail businesses as it allows for quick scanning and checkout. Currently, no omnidirectional barcode scanners are official listed/supported by Square. I am requesting for DS9208 to be added on the official support list. This has been previously discussed and asked for by many Square sellers: https://www.sellercommunity.com/t5/Questions-How-To/Omnidirectional-Barcode-Scanner/m-p/23972#M12082.

I was able to get it to work with a square stand, however am concerned it is not considered a supported barcode scanner. This should be a top priority as most retail businesses in our industry would want this for sure.

Also, the previous non-Square POS app we used was compatible with Symbol ds9208 and other usb scanners via the McPrint3 printer rather than any other external hub. So it did not require a hub like the terminal or stand require. This functionality should be added because currently the ipad ios app without the stand can only connect to socketmobile via bluetooth. This would be very helpful and it is possible to do as the mcprint3 can communicate with the iPad directly and act as a hub. Other POS apps have already integrated this.
