Improve Calendar readability and allow custom display hours

I’d like to suggest a couple of improvements to the Calendar view in Square Appointments to make it easier to read at a glance.

At the moment, appointment information can appear very close together, for example:

“10:00AMCUSTOMERNAME”

The Calendar already displays AM/PM next to the time on the calendar time axis, so having AM/PM repeated inside every appointment block seems unnecessary. The AM/PM is also displayed very close to the customer name, which makes the name harder to read, especially when there are multiple appointments.

It would be much easier to read if the appointment time could simply be displayed as

“10:00 CUSTOMER NAME” without the repeated AM/PM inside the appointment block.

Another useful improvement would be the ability to customise the hours displayed on the Calendar. For example, allowing businesses to display only their operating hours, or select a specific time range such as 8:00 AM–8:00 PM, instead of displaying the full 24 hours.

This would make better use of the available screen space and allow appointment blocks to be larger, making customer names and appointment details much easier to read.

These changes would significantly improve the usability and readability of the Calendar.
