Feature Request: Save ID Verification Data with Saved Carts

Hi Square Team,

We’d like to request support for persisting ID verification data when a cart is saved. For age‑restricted or identity‑restricted transactions, the ID check is part of the transaction workflow. When a cart is saved and later reopened, the verified ID (or the fact that it has been verified) should remain attached so staff don’t need to re‑verify the customer.

This would improve compliance, reduce friction for customers, and ensure the verification record stays tied to the transaction.
