Exclude specific SKUs from coupon

We carry a few co-branded items on the site that we contractually cannot discount. 

While you can make a coupon FOR specific items, there doesn't seem to be a way to EXCLUDE specific items from a coupon. 

I do not want to have to make a coupon FOR all 1600 SKUs just to exclude the few dozen, and we cannot remove them from online even temporarily (also contract).

I am also looking to have coupons ($5 off entire transaction), but I want to exclude specific items because they are "Bundles" that I have already discounted. Currently, I only have two bundles, but I would really like to expand that to more. I have tried applying the coupon to specific items and specific categories, but the % or $ amount is taken off of EVERY SINGLE ITEM!!! If nothing else, can you make it so that the coupon applies to the ENTIRE ORDER instead of each item?

I want to use the Coupons to reward my repeat customers as an incentive. I do not want to give the discount to everyone, nor do I want it to be an "automatically applied discount".

I see that this topic was requested as far back as 2016 (maybe earlier). How this "little" misstep slipped through the cracks makes no sense. This is my first year in business using this Square Weebly ecommerce site. I am finding it difficult, and sometimes impossible to do what many are saying should be a "no brainer."

For clarification, I do business online and in-person (POS). My request is mainly for the online store because I can easily apply discounts when using my POS terminal. Please give this an UpVote so that we can have this feature fixed.
