Different Fulfillment Options for Each Variation of an Item

Different Fulfillment Options for Each Variation of an Item

Hello!
I have a ceramic shop and I sell greenware and bisque pieces.  I would like to be able to add each item, create two variations (greenware and bisque) and offer a different fulfillment option for each variation.  Greenware is pickup only and bisque can be picked up or shipped.

Without that option, I have to put each item in twice.

Item for sale in Greenware for sale for pickup

Item for sale in Bisque for sale for shipping or pickup

With that option, I could put each item in once with two variations and I could use an Option Set.
     Item for sale
          Greenware for pickup

          Bisque for pickup or shipping

I hope this is a feature we can get soon!
Thank you!

Upvoting this.  I'll never need it in my business model, but I can see where it would be a highly valuable feature to have for a certain niche of Square sellers.

Oh, and @CountryClay, as much as I understand your "I hope this is a feature we can get soon!" ending, it would be remiss of me to let you keep that vain hope.  Like all software companies of its size, changes like this take a lot of planning, testing, more planning, etc.  This is a big change to the way Square does things now, so I can confidently say that even after/if it is accepted, it will be months or longer to get it to the community as a whole.  I checked a few third-party apps in the Square Marketplace to see if they offered such a thing, but came up dry.  So, just a word to the wise not to set yourself up with unreasonable expectations!

Still, good luck getting this accepted.  I'm rooting for you.

@CountryClay - did you find a solution for this? I am having the same issue for our plant nursery. We want to have small 4" plants available for shipping, but larger only available for local pick up or local delivery.
