Delay Pickup Time of an Order

Unlike delivery services like UberEats and Doordash, there is no option to adjust pickup times of an order placed through Square Online in the Square POS app. As the link suggests, this can be done through the dashboard but that is very impractical. I do not give staff access to the dashboard and we dont keep a full computer running just for this. We use tablets in the kitchen and at the counter. Its not even available in the official Square Register.

unless they just changed it, there have been soooo many changes week to week. on the square register click on the Oders Tab. Click on the order you want to change the pick up time. On the order details page that will pop up, next to pickup time will show the date and time for pick up. This should be blue indicating that it can be clicked. once clicked on the it should give you a prompt to adjust the pick up time.

 

Not sure if you need to setup permissions for staff to be able to do it. But it works for me
