Checkout with cash

I'd like to be able to have a 'Cash' option so that when a customer buys an item online they could tick a 'pay by cash' option at checkout. Then the business can collect the cash in person. This would be very useful for smaller businesses who have an older client base who prefer tp pay in cash. It'd help us track sales

this has been a request for YEARS. there are requests dating back to at least 2016. Eight years and no forward progress on this is absolutely shameful.

Square doesn't want to allow this option primarily because they miss out on the fees. They can't charge a service fee on cash payments. That is the only logical explanation that I can see at this point. Would LOVE for them to prove me wrong, but I won't hold my breath.

This is absolutely critical functionality for my businesses.  Currently I use Ecwid for two businesses because I NEED this and can't do it through Square.  I'd much rather have it all on one app. (I'd even be willing to pay a transaction fee or have this as part of a paid level of service).
