We run an ice cream shop that mixes fresh local fruit into ice cream to order. We have a long list of fruits that we use, and their availability changes frequently. Our terminal is set up with ice cream bases as the Items, and the fruits are Modifiers.
We flag fruit modifiers as available or sold out in the terminal, but the "sold out" modifiers still show up in the terminal when we're taking an order. The documentation page for Modifiers states:
Marking items or modifiers as sold out will make sure they don't appear as selectable options while checking out.
However, they still show up in checkout flow and are selectable. I'd like the sold out items to not be visible in the terminal so it's quicker to take an order -- otherwise we're scrolling through long lists of unavailable modifiers to find the ones that are available. At the very least, this would be a nice configurable global option - the ability to select whether or not "Sold Out" modifiers should be visible in the checkout flow or not.
