Add processing fees and net after fees to the Item Detail export

Hi everyone,
I'd love to see Square add fees at the item level in exports.
Right now:
• The Item Detail CSV shows gross sales per item, but no fees
• The Transactions CSV shows fees, but only per transaction
To see what each item actually earned after fees at one location, I have to export both files, match them by Transaction ID, and split each fee across items myself. It works, but it's slow and easy to get wrong.
What I'm asking for:
• "Fees" and "Net after fees" columns in the Item Detail export, with each transaction's fee split across its items proportionally
• Works with the location filter
• Bonus: fee totals in the Item Sales report
This would make item profitability and per-location reporting so much easier.
If you'd use this too, please give it an upvote or add a comment with how you'd use it. Has anyone found a better workaround in the meantime?

I made a free page that does that match for you. You drop in the Transactions CSV and the Item Details CSV for the same dates. It matches them on Transaction ID and splits each fee across the items by what the customer paid for each, tax included. It adds the fees up by category, not by item, but the download has one row per payment and category with its items, so you can check any line. The files stay in your browser.
