Add Vendor Name as a Column and Filter in the COGS Report

The Cost of Goods Sold report currently does not include vendor information. As a retailer managing multiple suppliers, I need to see vendor names directly within the COGS report — both as a visible column and as a filterable dimension.

To analyze COGS by vendor today, I have to export the COGS report as a CSV and manually cross-reference it against purchase orders or vendor records. This is time-consuming and error-prone, especially at scale.

Requested improvement

• Add a Vendor Name column to the COGS report
• Add a Vendor filter so I can isolate COGS, revenue, profit, and margin for a specific supplier
• Include vendor name in the CSV export

Vendor-level margin visibility is essential for merchandise planning — knowing which suppliers deliver the best margin helps with reorder decisions, negotiation leverage, and identifying underperforming product lines. Without it, the COGS report only tells part of the story. Also needed for me to pay my vendor artist who are under consignment with me. Running both a COGS with no vendor information and then having to run a Vendor sales report and trying to merge them in excel is extremely time consuming and has errors. 

This will help Any Square for Retail seller managing more than one vendor, which is the majority of retail operators and for any seller that handles consignment sales.
