Many Moons ago, I would use my QR code to collect names and emails. Now the same QR code only collects email and cell numbers.
I don't know when this changed, but I no longer get new customers when they scan the QR code.
I had 10 customers add their email and cell through my QR code. They never received an email prompting confirmation, or my discount offered. I never received notification they signed up and I cannot find them in my directory of customers.
Note: if a customer specifically adds their email to my "email sign up" on my website, we both get a notification.
Is there a way to build my email & customer directory through my QR code at my vending booths?

I'm not certain if there have been any changes or not, but we have a printable QR code for our customer directory sign up. Try going to CUSTOMERS>SETTINGS>EMAIL COLLECTION and copy the "hosted sign up" code into a QR Code generator. See if that works for you.

Thanks for trying. I cannot see you in my directory. I am guessing you didnt get an email with a coupon either..
That link for the QR code to join my mailing list only asks for email and cell, no longer name. On my website, it asks for name, email, and birthday. My answer may be to direct everyone to my website to sign up. This will be the band aid until I figure out why this happens.
I'm new to this but noticed the same thing. The QR code works to take folks to the sign up screen but it only asks for their Email and cell - no name. I do see them in the Directory but their email (or cell) is their name.
