Can I use both physical and digital gift cards for my business?

Yes, you can use physical and digital gift cards at the same time for your business!

Do note that you have to use physical gift cards manufactured by eCard Systems only, no other physical cards are compatible with the Square system. You can order them from your dashboard at Dashboard -> Items & Services -> Gift Cards -> Plastic Gift Cards. 

eGift (digital) gift cards can be configured from the Gift Cards area on your dashboard as well. Do note that eGift cards are not active on your system until the recipient claims the card via the email they receive. Once they do that, you can easily access the eGift card by linking the recipient's name to the sale then using the Card on File option when checking them out.
