Thanks!

That's great! Having a family background in the industry must have given you some valuable insights. What was it like growing up with a pest control business in the family? By the way, does your family still own and operate the pest control business, and if so, in which city?

SO many valuable insights on both pests and entrepreneurship. One of my best memories of my dad in action was during one of my softball games and a skunk made his way to the outfield. The umpire called timeout and tried shoo-ing it away but it wouldn't budge; so my dad sighed and had my mom hold his beer while he went out to his truck to get the supplies to catch him and move him back into the woods. 😜

He was a one man operation his whole life and retired last year to now take on his other full time job of watching my kids. 😆 We're in St. Louis, MO! He was too old school to move to online scheduling but please keep me updated on how Appointments works for you in the industry. I'll always be invested in the pest world!

Hello All,

My name is Jeff and I am tasked with taking a brick and mortar operations which has been selling small rocks and such for the past 30 years.
The shop has a current inventory of 10,000 items on hand and listed in their square POS system.

I am looking to generate some templates with the square space online site editor to which I can flow these items on to an ecommerce platform with a minimal amount of drama.

When I started using the site editor there is little or no control over the position of the text boxes or what is in the text box.

Should I continue to try and make this thing do something it won't??

Hi, I'm Frank and I'm the president of the MMC Hospital Auxiliary.  We run the Gift Shop and currently record all sales by hand in a notebook. I am trying to bring our operation into the 21st Century and am in the process of setting up the Square Retail POS System.

We had a iPad (9th Generation) model #MK2L3LL/A donated to us.  It was purchased but never used by the donor.  Since it was purchased last fall, I was hoping that it would be a usb-c, but I found out it is the Lightning connector.  It looks like they made a Square Stand 2nd Generation V1 (Lightning) but finding one is proving to be difficult.  Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, Frank

Hello, my name is Trevor, and I am a dedicated wedding officiant and minister and opened Forever love Weddings (Link to website) in Providence, RI. I proudly serve couples across Rhode Island, Connecticut, and Massachusetts, ensuring their special day is as memorable and meaningful as possible by customizing their scripts and telling their unique story. I also provide commitment services, baptisms, vow renewals. Funeral services are always free.

Before finding my calling in officiating weddings, I retired from Emergency Medical Services (EMS) as an EMT after 20 fulfilling years of service. At the age of 48, I transitioned into this role to continue helping people in a new and impactful way.

For the past four years, I've been using Square for payment processing, and it has been a game-changer for my business. As a wedding officiant always on the move, the ability to accept remote payments with ease has made Square an invaluable tool, simplifying my operations and giving my clients flexibility.
