Square loans 2026

Hi! I am currently @ 49% paid of my 8th loan with square. Typically offers have come in at around 50-60% since. I have seen a few people mentioning that they now do a soft credit pull and am wondering if this pertains to personal credit or business credit?

New offers are not automatically extended when a certain percentage of an existing loan is repaid, but your business may become eligible for a new offer when your existing plan is closer to being repaid. This timing helps to ensure a significant portion of a new loan can be used to reinvest in your business directly rather than repaying your existing loan balance.

Keep in mind that we can’t guarantee that another offer will be extended before or after the current plan is complete. Repaying your existing plan does not guarantee that your business will be eligible for another offer.

I dont think it is part of Giggle Finance. I looked it up to see if there were any connections between them and could not find any links. In Canada, Merchant growth aquired a lot of the smaller fintech lenders. Now with US lenders wanting to expand into Canada, I am becoming more familiar with the names. I actaully think it is good for Canadian business to have more options.

right! this is only our second loan, but we received the offer when we were only 51% paid on the first one because we are paying it so fast. We usually hit our minimum payment within 2-3 weeks.

I am at 71% and having my biggest sales season ever!  I absolutely love square and recommend it to everyone however I wish there was a quantifiable measure on when loans hit.  I need a new piece of equipment, and a new loan would absolutely be a game changer at this time.  If the only negative is the ambiguity of the loan process, then for me it's a win!  I do thoroughly enjoy the community board as well.  Many times, I have found answers to questions on other features of square I did not understand.  HOWEVER -- I do wish there was an idea of when a new loan would be available if even at all.  What I don't want to do is take out a third-party loan only to wake up the next day and have a new loan offer with square.

Keep pushing those cards, get the dollar amount up, and get new customers. Push hard and then see! Great job on your best year!!! 👏👏👏 It’s hard for some of us that have been around for a while and got so used to it being 70-75% and boom, offer hit. Business has changed, and we have to keep pushing forward no matter what happens and when it happens. Good luck and hopefully soon!

Unfortunately I don't think any of that matters. 

I'm at 84% with all markers in green. 

You really just have to put it out of sight and mind and cross your fingers you wake up with a notification with the offer.
