Square loans 2026

Hi! I am currently @ 49% paid of my 8th loan with square. Typically offers have come in at around 50-60% since. I have seen a few people mentioning that they now do a soft credit pull and am wondering if this pertains to personal credit or business credit?

Hi @moxiemavenandco

Appreciate you taking the time to post.

New offers are not automatically extended when a certain percentage of an existing loan is repaid, but your business may become eligible for a new offer when your existing plan is closer to being repaid. This timing helps to ensure a significant portion of a new loan can be used to reinvest in your business directly rather than repaying your existing loan balance.

Keep in mind that we canโ€™t guarantee that another offer will be extended before or after the current plan is complete. Repaying your existing plan does not guarantee that your business will be eligible for another offer.

Donโ€™t hesitate to contact us directly if you have further questions or concerns.

Here we go!!! 1 more down. It can take 1-3 days, depending on the day of the week and the time you received it.  Just watch your dashboard; if no information is needed, it's just a tad behind. There's been a big push! Congratulations again!

11 years at the current location June 26th and the first location was 3 years prior to and I remember just prior to Covid for a good 5 years or so I could almost guarantee an offer between 70-74% like clockwork. Now, I had from 64% to I believe 84 or 86%? Just myself at 64% it better be something amazing or I will let that go. I hate rolling over that much but thatโ€™s just me. I just know that itโ€™s been a good 4-5 years that I have slowly been watching and the percentage and offers are just not lining up right and hit and miss. I see it here every day and it gets hard to tell someone โ€œhold on, keep swiping more and increase the volumeโ€. I watch the trends, and whatโ€™s going on outside of square and other POS and for the most part it is word for word. Business the last 4 years for myself has been amazing and up in every aspect and yes, I still receive offers but up one time and down the next time? Square is a business which means they have to answer to stockholders and we all know and I donโ€™t have to say the motto no if ands or whenโ€™s. I am glad you are doing great! I love to see mom and pops kicking it out there. I wish you all the best and hope you receive an offer soon!

We notice you trying to stay positive and helpful. Some other posters are not and, honestly, they are condescending so believe me, it doesn't go unnoticed. ๐Ÿ˜Š

Iโ€™m no different than anyone else, and other businesses are looking for the same information. Honestly, we are the best source of information by sharing it. Yes, we are all different businesses and process differently, but it helps to see where the majority is at in terms of percentage and whether offers are trending up or down. If not I can certainly give the same old response and go nowhere or help by just sharing information about what is happening now. Right now itโ€™s trending higher percentage and lower than previous offers. Of course, not everyone but the percentage is higher than normal and business owners can tighten down and hold out or do what they need to. I will never tell anyone what is best for them or their business. You and only you can or should make that decision. People forget sometimes there are new owners on loan 2-3 and not sure how it works and really looking for answers and the best way to do that is by us, honestly. It helps a ton with regular users coming on. Thank you and everyone else who keeps checking in and sharing. It really does help.

Part of me wonders if it some sort glitch/issue with whatever AI they use for the algorithm. I've been using the ManagerBot to run certain automations everyday (sales vs last week and vs last year). I've always done it myself but figured I'd try it out. The last several days it says it can't run the information because I don't have any sales for May. Then when I tell it I have processed for May it reruns the automation and everything is there.
