Hi! I am currently @ 49% paid of my 8th loan with square. Typically offers have come in at around 50-60% since. I have seen a few people mentioning that they now do a soft credit pull and am wondering if this pertains to personal credit or business credit?

New offers are not automatically extended when a certain percentage of an existing loan is repaid, but your business may become eligible for a new offer when your existing plan is closer to being repaid. This timing helps to ensure a significant portion of a new loan can be used to reinvest in your business directly rather than repaying your existing loan balance.

Keep in mind that we can’t guarantee that another offer will be extended before or after the current plan is complete. Repaying your existing plan does not guarantee that your business will be eligible for another offer.

I've had 9 loans over 6 years.  My last loan paid off in early April and within a few days I got something completely different than I've ever seen or been offered.  My loans had consistently been in the $18k-$25k range.  All of a sudden I got a new bright yellow alert on my banking overview page that offered me "up to $4250 for a cash flow boost" and it has to be paid back in full in 120 days.  Ummm...  THIS is nothing like my previous 9 loans.  And the fee and % is crazy high.  Has anyone else experienced this?

There’s a few new loan options available right now. Some are a short term solution and others are what we consider the old traditional 18 mth loan. Not ever loan is for everyone and if it isn’t what you are looking for or fits your needs then you can always pass and see what the next offer might be. I have finally received an offer earlier this expected.   I usually see them around 70-75% paid off.  I got this at 60% paid off yesterday .. I didn’t except right away because it’s still fairly low … today I had a huge sales day +325% increase.  Another square user told me to wait  until tomorrow when they review my account they could adjust it higher based on today’s sales.  Is that accurate  has that happened to anyone??? I don’t want to ignore it until it goes away but also would like a better offer at the same time.  Help me lol

The information shown on your eligibility page is usually refreshed in real time. You can see the last date and time your loan eligibility was evaluated under “Eligibility factors.”

Hi! You’re always so helpful so I was hoping you had some insight regarding this. I just paid off a monthly payment loan on (not daily %) 5/7 with the payment showing as completed on 5/14. Any idea when my loan page for this location will show as eligible for an offer again? It just shows as

Regarding the usual process (besides the fact that there's no guarantee of timing), I've paid off a few accounts. Once they are fully settled, you go back into the algorithm 😩 — now is the time to push those cards and increase your already impressive numbers. Keep us updated if you receive a monthly versus daily offer this time, if you don't mind. I've noticed some flip-flopping lately. Again, this doesn't guarantee which offer you'll get or if trying for a different one after declining hasn't worked for two others now, with no new offers in over four months or so. Just an FYI. Good luck. They are coming in on the lower side for most.

Thank you! The paid off loan was a monthly payment and currently I don’t even have eligibility factors showing on this location’s loan dashboard. Just says not currently eligible.

Monthly metrics have been a nightmare! It takes time for updates, which only happen on Mondays—Fridays. When you've done everything 100% correct, it now feels like watching paint dry. That's one of the downsides to the monthly loan. If you're into stats and data (I am daily), this alternative is tough on that! It takes a bit longer for stats to appear. This loan option could use some tech support, in my opinion. On the plus side, you've been through this with the monthly before. Honestly, I haven't seen or heard of any updates on it, so I guess the same thing is happening for you this time. I remember you going back and forth for a while trying to get your metrics, and after a couple of weeks, they finally showed up. Good luck, and I'll be watching to see how long it takes.

99% repaid off of $45k, full repayment maybe today but probably tomorrow. Processing up 90%, everything good, all the things like everyone else. Nothing.

No. 100% paid off. Doing the best I've ever done, up on everything (processing, transactions ECT) by almost 90% across the board and nothing.

Just checking in, seems no update for new offers. 

1 location 81% paid off no offer

2 location 89% paid off no offer 

3 location 69% paid off no offer

4 location 60% paid off no offer

5 location 69% paid off ( got an offer last month) 

6 location 100% off since AUGUST 2025 no offer at all (I gave up on waiting on this one)

this algorithm will not make sense

Few POS systems are trying to buy me to switch. I always say that I’m loyal to square. 
but recently square is not making it easy for me to stick with the narrative..

I'll never understand to be honest. We have one location, we're at 94% paid on a $15k loan, all metrics good, processing up 132%, no disputes, no refunds, money in Square savings, have a balance of $300 on our square credit card which is 10% utilization and just got an offer of $4100. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I received an offer last month at 95% paid off, it was not even half of the last offer and I refused it. Never received another offer since.

Ugh, they either seem to come back quickly or the algorithm is taking it personally and going around the world 2x🫣 trying to predict a norm lately is a crap shoot. I do wish you the best and hopefully it will come back fast and big!
